Anything Goes Open Rehearsal and Scotty Watson's Free Improv Class - Back on Schedule! We trust that your summer was fun, full and fabulous and that y'all have been creating like crazy in preparation for the return of Anything Goes open rehearsals! Bring your new writing, idea, song, improv, etc -- anything goes! -- perform it yourself or take advantage of the actors and directors available to bring your script or improv to life. Every Anything Goes is preceded by Scotty Watson's Free Improv Class which is open to all levels of improvisor as well as those who have never improvised before! (He's THAT good!) 2010 Summer Retreats Wrap Up! Our July Master Improv Retreat hosted 36 participants from across the US and Canada. We were delighted to add Rachel Hamilton as one of our Master Teachers, joining Gary Austin, Michael J. Gellman and Kevin Frank (also new to us this year). The days were long and full and each evening's performance highlighted the leaps in craft each particpant took. In August, our Improv Intensive (nee the Summer Improv Retreat!) once again brought together Gary Austin, Michael J. Gellman, Wenndy MacKenzie, Carol Fox Prescott and Jeffrey Sweet at the glorious Full Moon Resort. Participants joined us from the US, Canada, Britain and Italy!! Our Kids' Retreats, held simultaneously with both the Master Retreat in July and the August Intensive, gave a combination of 12 young people a taste of improv, magic and performing! Dates are set for next Summer. Start planning now so you won't miss out!
