Allison Jones - Fundraising Committee Chair
Allison Jones is a blogger, advocate, and educator committed to education equality and a sustainable public sector. After graduating from Haverford College, she was awarded a fellowship by her alma mater to work in a non profit in Philadelphia where she coordinated a leadership program for disadvantaged teens. After that year, she took her passion for educational change back to her home city New York where she is currently the development director for an inner city catholic school and is implementing student leadership programs.

She is also dedicated to strengthening the nonprofit sector by learning more about the challenges the field faces and providing solutions. She is actively engaging the next generation of non profit leaders through her blog, Entry Level Living (entrylevelliving.wordpress.com) and has taken her passion off-line as one of the founders of OnlyUp.org, a start-up non-profit that helps non-profits expand opportunities for young people to enact social change.

She has been awarded over $70,000 in grants and fellowships including a $5,000 start up grant from Mobilize.org, has been featured in the Chronicle of Philanthropy and the New York Daily News, is a syndicated blogger on Brazen Careerist (a career portal for people under 30) and Damsels in Success (a professional support network for women), and was selected as a Social Change Leader by Greater Philadelphia Cares and a fellow in the NYU Fellowship for Emerging Leaders in Public Service.

Allison is on the Junior Board of Catholic Charities and is an active member of the Young Non-Profit Professionals Network. When not blogging or working she enjoys cooking and spending time with her five younger siblings.
